BOTTOM-UP COMPACTION
Wheel penetration works through the lift, helping reduce soil bridging and voids while processing and compacting backfill.

The wheel’s shearing and kneading action can help break up clay and remix cohesive material during trench backfill.
STATIC, SIMPLE OPERATION
The wheel installs in place of the bucket and does not require a special hydraulic power system.

EXCM Series standard widths run from 24″ to 60″. Match the wheel to trench width, lift conditions and project requirements.
3. CONFIRM MOUNT & PAD
Provide direct pin-on or coupler information and select standard Wedge Pads or optional sheepsfoot based on the application.

WHY USE A STATIC COMPACTION WHEEL ON A EXCAVATOR?
COMPACTS THROUGH THE LIFT
An open compaction wheel can penetrate into the lift instead of only acting at the surface, helping reduce bridging and unprocessed material.
NO AUXILIARY HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
The EXCM Series works through carrier movement and downforce, so no special vibratory hydraulic system is required.
BACKFILL + COMPACT
The integrated plate can help move and level material so the operator can perform more trench-backfill work with one attachment.
Compaction results vary with soil, moisture, lift thickness, carrier, wheel selection and project requirements. Follow job specifications and field density testing where required.
